That sunshine reflecting off the disks is really warm and smoothing!

Everything nice about this image. I like the 3/4 angle and the slight elevation from which it is shot. The flaming disks & fading tarmac in the BG sums it all..

This picture tell a story about the true potential of this mean machine.

Well done Kris. A few lesson to learn from you if i venture into bike & static shots.

Thanks for your appreciation on my images...Its a halfhearted effort from my phone galaxy s2. Did not carry any of my photogear for the run in.

Thanks Surya!

While shooting, I suddenly got this angle wherein I saw the reflection of the orange eastern sky. Mind you, when I took this shot, the sun was not yet up! What you see is just the reflection of the sky. And I am quite happy to learn how well light can be used to highlight something or create shadows. I tried to get the right angle, the right exposure to get the best and most vivid colours. It lasted for a few minutes. Maybe a couple of minutes or maybe 3. Not more.

I figured from the pixels that you were not shooting with your DSLRs. I really wish you were since some of the settings were really in your favour at that moment. (Though the light wasn't.)

Ken, like I always had been saying how much I like the simplicity of your shots. I try to mimic them but somehow miserably fail every-time.

This shot is the shot to justify the name of this thread "Bike-Static shot" .. This tells a story. Its like a stage is set for the bike which is waiting for his master to zoom away into horizon..

BTW I do not have 17Lakhs to read the reviews ;-) ..

Thanks for the eloquent praise!

Phew, I am all floating now...

OT: As for the 15L tag on the bike... because such bikes are not supposed to be changed for a long while. [BMW Philosophy. ]

First one is NOT a bike shot.

Second one is a retro look of a retro bike. Hence not bad. Good grainy shot, bike details are quite visible... not a bad effort overall for the 2nd shot.
