[Critique]: My close range shots

I like the fourth one. Thats about it. Other than that, the others are not doing much to me. Besides exposure, you also have to work on an interesting frame. If your frame is dull or uninteresting, it will fail to attract the viewer.

This is the critique section. Do not expect people to go soft on you just because you are new here. People can lambast you as well.

based on the above assumption In my opinion,
1. photoshopping needs perfection - in the sense some places on border of rose - like bottom of the frame where a small green leaf is coming out, the finishing is not done, you can see the background color, same happened at right of the rose too
2. as water has been poured (not sure by whom), if you have done this, I think it would look better with less but prominent water droplets, and some droplets on most of the leaves would also give a consistency in photo.
3. the bottom part is so close ,in fact touched the frame, which is not of my taste, also if you were to print this to bind, this will go out of sight due to the photo frame. Just a suggestion, in case you want a full frame closed shot of an object, keep same distance between the subject (in this case - the flower-leaves) and border of frame on opposite sides - for a good composition. That means the distance between subject and border at left should compliment the same at right and same formula for top and bottom.
4. As you have done some photoshop to make it a good photo, I think you could have cloned the torn leaf on top left side.

the water on the flower was not poured by me.... This pic is taken after a rain..
But as you said i also wonder why no dropes on the leaves.. it might have been evaporated coz after the rain good sunshine ws there.....

I guess evaporation would have happened same way on flower to if i have to take your words as flower is not miles away from leaves.

Anyway concepturally red in black always attract eyes, flowers with water droplets gives freshnes, but then framing has to be much more accurate. Diddawiz has already pointed out some good points.
