Hi fellow shutterbugs!

Xavier here from Pune. Photography is something very new for me. Found my interest in it almost 3 months ago. Saved up for a DSLR and bought a Canon EOS 1000D (Rebel XS) almost a month ago. I've got loads to learn and am really looking forward to a good and delightful stay here at thephotographer. :)
My hobbies (in order of preference :p) are as follows :
1. Music (A die hard Metal fan, but will listen to anything other than Hip Hop/Nu Metal)
2. Aqua : Have got 4 aquariums at home and the no. of tanks isn't gonna reduce anytime soon :P Also, I'm very interested in fish photography.
3. Reading : Fantasy Fiction/Thriler mostly, with Stephen King, Tolkien, Rowling, Colfer, Paolini, etc. being my favourite authors.
4. Photography : This is one addictive hobby that has been giving me sleepless nights (literally!) lately :D

Oh and a few of you must know me from xbhp. I'm a noob biker and ride mainly for commuting purposes. Love going for long rides though. :)

Progressive Metal is my favourite subgenre and Dream Theater is my favourite band. Other subgenres that I frequently listen to are Black, Death (Old School, Brutal, Technical), Doom, Avant Garde, Folk, Viking, Thrash, Neo Classical, Symphonic, Power, Techical/Math & Heavy(rarely these days).
