I had jst bought my 550D and this is the first event i shot with it.Considering the Indoor Lighting and the pace at which Badminton is played and the 18-55,3.5 KIT Lens I hope i have done the best possible! :(
High ISO was required mostly at 6400,at times when NOISE was too much I used 3200
since im away frm home and have no access to PS i wasn't abt to remove the Noise

Nice try I can say. Cannot say much more than that. Your WB is off. Photos have a green tint. Always carry a grey card to such events. But I guess I should not critique much since this is Click and Show. If you want critique, I can move this to Critique section.

Ranjith, NIce to see you have wasted no time in starting to shoot! Good job.
If your 550d has WB preset, you can use a pure white paper and focus the camera onthat. Click and save that WB. I hope I explained it properly.

there is a reason why you need pro gear and a pro lens (faster lens atleast )in low light condtion to shoot sports action ..secondly .you need to bit close to the subject (zoom required ) .unfortunately ,18-55 isn't sufficent for it .

regarding WB people have already said much about it .

Yes, you need to get closer to your subject. Besides, most of the shots presented here are action shots of the smash or lunges. You could have also taken shots of the moment when the player is about to execute the service. Close-ups of players taking a breather etc... to make sports action shots interesting you need to be creative too and not get overwhelmed by the situation and the circumstances. :) Keep practising under different situations, you will improve.
