Nice set of photographs there. I liked the 6th and 8th one the most. However, I see the horizon tilted in many pictures, which kills the feel of the photograph even though the photograph itself might be good.

I would also like to know what kind of post-processing workflow did these photograph go through. :)

Arijit,

Your post processing treatment is good & the final outcome of the pictures are real good. I loved 5, 6, 9 & 10, but 9 is the No1 personally.

As previously mentioned by Aryan, the tilted horizon is one issue you need to work on. Most of the post processing tools have options to straighten the horizons or slants. Or, you can crop the pictures in such a way that the horizon appears straight.

Some very interesting treatment. I liked the way you went about your work. When were you in Delhi?

However, I see the horizon tilted in many pictures, which kills the feel of the photograph even though the photograph itself might be good.

To a certain extent I agree. However let us not make a mountain about the horizon bit coz I have seen some brilliant shots (portraits though) where the horizon straight rule has been thrown outta the window! :) :)

I would also like to know what kind of post-processing workflow did these photograph go through. :)

I would like to know that too.

thanx aryan :)
every pic is treated with : contrast, highlights, exposure, saturation and tints.
for 3,7,8,9 and 10 : i duplicated the layers in PS, added some gaussian blur and used the 'soft light' layer option before adjusting above attributes. this was done to bring out some over darkened parts. (as i use a pocket cam, i use this style often to get comparatively better quality photographs :))
Nice photos and interesting treatment!
thanx tau :)
the tilted horizon
thanx for appreciation cyclops.
i must clear that those slants are intentional and a few created during post-processing only. :)
if you observe again, every pic with a slant has atleast one symmetry in framing(which for me doesn't let the image go out of consideration!). i mean the pictures do not have a slant because of carelessness. :)
it is just an another experiment. the conventional framing is of course an option that you still have here.

When were you in Delhi?

thanx ken!:)
i was in delhi for a month for my industrial training.
sadly missed the xbhp stall at auto expo...:(

Arijit - Purposeful slants! Now, I need to figure it out & try something similar. :)
Btw, I get a natural tilt/slant thanks to my health issue. ;)

Well, will try to see your pictures in a new light & enjoy 'em. And, your post processing, I need to try that certainly for one.

Thanks for the feedback.
