My comments are as follows now...
I liked 2 and 4.
I did not like 1. I did not like 5 either.
3 is good but is not sharp enough for me!
6 is a good shot at an interesting angle. However in 6 I would have liked more action.
7 is picture postcard perfect. Well exposed, nicely framed with Nothing happening.
And finally, I am not at all comfortable with the WB of the last photograph.
My favourite being the 2nd.

no 1:a goner for two reasons.first its a blur.second the wash on the sun further spoils it.silhouettes are sort of difficult to shoot at times.
no 2:now this is actually beautifully executed.keeping the structure in the centre gives nice depth to the shot.
no 3:a nice one but will need sharpening.
no 4:again a nice shot.good emphasis on the twilight showcase.
no 5: shooting flowers in the evening is not a good idea specially during low lights..so its losing its charm.thats my personal view.
no 6 and 7: both again beauty shots.now matter how you look at the monument its magnificent.
no 8: i personally like how you created the long band of lights.it seems as if somebody has put those shaadi lights and its hanging from the india gate.
no 9: good choice of the subject but shot not good executed.
keep clicking..

#2,7,8 do it for me.
I'd echo Anvancy's thoughts!
Also #9 has no bokeh!
3/4 look a little dull. Maybe "fill lights" should help there.
and d00d, Delhi is alot MORE than just Lotus temple and India Gate :p

Tau: I know Delhi is a lot more than Lotus Temple & India Gate but you need to have more time to shoot the diffrent aspects of Delhi. :)

I loved the colors that the sky has in number-3 shot. The 'candyman' shot has some real potential. :)
Thanks for sharing these DJ, and have you got yourself the 40D? Or did you have it right from the 'beginning'? Please do share the lenses that you have used for these photographs.

How did you made the light streaks from a static object ? I liked most of your shots in this series.

Aryan: I bought it some time back, i guess you missed the "It is here" thread posted by me. :) All the pictures were taken by the 18-55IS. I also have the nifty 2fifty in my beginner's kit. :)
amvj: Buddy those light streaks are due to the zoom out. Try it, its not really diifficult. Long exposure and a zoom out while the shutter is open. :)
Cheers,
DJ

@DJ: Great! Yes, I believe I missed the thread somehow, but the 40D is a brilliant piece of cam body. :) If I had the finances available at my disposal, I would've got myself the 50D; have been yearning for a long time now, for the 50D. :)
Congratulations, by the way!

Thanks Aryan... but I decided to go for a 40D after quite some thought over 50D.
50D is an awesome cam but considering that I was upgrading from a P&S either i have to buy L series lenses to justify the 15 megs or else I have to be a very very good photographer to justify the ability of the cam.... hence the choice was 40D... :)
I hope you got the point I was trying to make !!

@DJ: I didn't know that the 40D is your first D-SLR, straight off of the P&S genre. Brilliant! Some people ARE lucky, after all. ;) :D
Do share more pictures clicked with the 40D. I love the xxD series of cameras from Canon, be it the 40D, 50D or the 10D. :D

Thanks Robin !!
Aryan: I will certainly share more in the coming days.. and I was not lucky,, saved for 1.5 years before investing. My budget was less earlier then i thought its an investment so it should do good for the next few years... hence the choice !! :) :)
