a timelapse of my sis doing rangoli.

By the way, things happened as Hitanshu prophesised, I botched up and lack of tripod didnt help.

Ken, I had checked out the Exif. By MO I was asking about other details, like did he use a tripod and whether he used a method similar to what Sri advised in the beginning of Hitanshus thread.

Thanks Titus. Well, with the camera mounted on tripod in self timer mode and as the EXIF says, used long exposures of 25-30 secs. And using Sri's method managed to minimise overexposure by covering the lens when there were no firecrackers around.

Photo shot on the 08th of August. What was the occasion? this festival called yodogawa hanabi.they celebrate in every august.:) but ofcourse as an indian i miss diwali.in punjab we say DAL ROTI GHAR DI, DIWALI AMRITSAR DI :)

That was a tp shot which I myself did not like actually, since the letters are not perfectly identifiable.
I shot them in Bulb mode using the kit lens. And yes a tripod also ! .

@Ken da: Instead of a two click upload - I had to hop over to galleries - upload in 3 steps, click through to each image - see its actual URL, then paste it as image URL into the post.
