I was the official company photographer for the 2010 Hyosung 250CC launch in Australia. The following photos were shot around Melbourne. Equipment used: 500D, 70-200mm f4, 100mm f2.8 Macro, 50mm f1.8.

Sunny, had seen some of it on Xbhp, but still it doesn't fail in making my jaw hit the floor, AWESOME!

Official Photographer eh! You are soaring higher and higher, and I sincerely hope it gets even better with time. Feel honored to be associated with you at least through the forums.
My personal favourites are 3,4 and 8. Love the way the gravel/sand is flying as the bikers shoe hits the ground in the last one!

How was the first one shot? I mean the height factor.

Wow! Official photographer for Hyosung. Another feather that makes us proud. Another notch on your photographer career graph. Most of the shots I like here; they are near perfect compositions and crops, right exposure and shadow highlights, as I was saying, a thorough professional job.

Wanted to ask you a couple of questions however...

1.Were you on a motorcycle while shooting the moving shots or in a 4X4 kind of vehicle which I doubt.

2.Did you outsource the PP or did you do it yourself all on your own for all the photographs?

Thanks for sharing these stupendous photographs.

Too good! Lovely composition and spot on focus in each of those pictures. Lovely processing too. I have the same question as Ken. Were these (#1 & #2) shot from a moving vehicle? And how did the 500D's AF system respond to the situation. Did you have more keepers than discarded ones? I'm guessing you used the Servo mode with the center AF point in action?

I guess he used some 4x4 vehicle with a sun roof :)

I am glad that you liked the photos. However I had some revelations after I was through with the shoot:

Lenses with IS are a boon, they do produce sharper photos. The 10-22 did not produce sharp enough results just because of this.
I had dropped my 70-200 f4 some months ago. It seems to have lost its sharpness although there is no broken components and the focus is spot on too. The 100-400 IS L which I used in Ireland was just magficent, and this lens feels primitive in front of that. some day.

@Ken: I do all the PP myself, one of the advantages of being a graphic designer.
The overhead shot was simply taken off the back of a very low bike, the Aquila by simply outstretching my arms over my head with the 10-22. The effect would have been much more pronounced if it had been a higher bike like the Gt250.

There were a lot of discarded photos. A very learned person recently told me this "I will be a real expert if I only have 1 keeper out of 100 photos I click.". Thats deep.

Wow! Lovely photographs, all of them. And congratulations on being the official photographer for Hyosung! That's a wonderful news, really. :)

I am sure you are many a people's envy and I sure am one of them. ;) Brilliant job, indeed Sunny. :) And that PP really does help.

A PP thread from you (on your workflow) will be really appreciated Sunny. Please, do think about it.

I agree, TOTALLY, especially at higher focal lengths (or/and slow shutter speeds), without tripod, it really becomes noticeable

That is indeed VERY deep.

Awesome shots! All of them!

#1 & #2 - Love the creative angles.. these almost look like rig shots
#5 & #6 - sorry, these are cropped too tightly for my taste
#1 & #2 - the strong shadows in these could be distracting for some
#4 in my overall favorite... simply love that pose!

Very good series overall... nice compositions, perfect exposure, great sharpness and punchy colors in all of them.

Job well done:)

Great pics @Sunny

My favourites would be the last 2 pics - tells a lot about the character of the bike hence good product photography.
