can ne1 get better lighting effect?? marvelous...and adequate editing !!!
thanks arijit. There was not much of editing actually. I used a Polarizer over the 18-55mm kit lens which gave this amount of contrast.
One more from the same set which I shared long back in xbhp.
Again very less editing in this shot, the saturation is due to the extra-vivid mode plus the polarizer.

again a nice shot. is it the same tree with different angle as in the former one???
but these samples of using a polariser are mouth watering!!! cant wait to xperiment with it...i suppose i should start saving now for a dslr and a polariser !!:o

those two were made using a 5d2 and a 100-400, i think at 400 and they are cropped.
I hope any one living in pune is ok today. I still have a bunch of friends living overthere and everyone of them were not touched by this bomb.

Nice attempt at action. However I would have preferred a little more of the kid to the right to be in the frame and if you could have frozen the action with a higher SS.

Interesting watermark!

The end result of that has a lot of noise; hence i discarded it. I might be going overboard with the sliders; that could be one reason for that.. :-)

Your Phuket shot is decent.

Pondicherry shot is superb. If only you could put in a human, a girl, a model, even a dog, anything, I think that it would "life" to the photograph.

style as in ?? good or bad ?
thats picture was taken using a simple point and shoot .Editing with all that noise in the picture even at iso80 isn't easy .

Let me show a recent shot of a beach. I do not have too many beach shots. I have one relatively decent shot from a very long time ago, internet did not exist then in our country... 1988, on TP, from one of the beaches in the Andamans. But that TP has got scratches and all and is not too good getting scanned.
Beach in Biarritz

One are place where there not too many people because there were a lot of Jellyfishes washed ashore. One should generally avoid Jellyfish as many might know since they can be really dangerous. Hence the people were enjoying the waters elsewhere. And I got a quick shot here to check out the sand and the water with some lone walkers and a kite flyer.
