I didn't have the time to read thru the link earlier on...pretty high on the feature list...

- Viewfinder has 1.0x magnification
- new focus, color, luminance metering
- electronic level indicators on the viewfinder
- Integrated speedlite transmitter

Unless someone desperatly requires full frame, this will kill the 5d mkII.

It would not. FF is FF after all. The sensor size matters a lot. But yes, with the features, this is killer pricing.

This is more likely to eat up the 50D's market IMO And yes, it is a direct competitor to the D300 since Canon lacked an APSC sensor/ high framerate body earlier. The new 15-85 lens looks promising but is pretty pricey @ $800. :(

Oh, and the G11 has been launched too.
