Hi all. My name is Samik Ghosh. My nick name is Jonak. I am student of MTech at BESU, Shibpur Kolkata. I was using a KODAK EASYSHARE C310 for the last couple years but two weeks back I have bought a Panasonic FZ28. I know very little from the world of photography. :o Now I am trying to shoot everything that comes in front of me when I am with the camera.
Attaching some of my humble works.

Welcome to thePhotographer Jonak

Some really nice photos, very good work considering that they are coming from someone who is taking pictures for just 2 weeks as you say in your Intro.

Jonak, Welcome to tpin. It seems you are putting the FZ28 to good use. Nice work.
How much did you get it for?
I am sure you have some cool photos of your Zma in your arsenal.

Thanks Ken da. As I said earlier I had a basic point and shoot 4MP camera Kodak C310. My FZ is 2 weeks old. Did not get time to take out the cam either because of rain or time constrain. :o

Thanks bro.
I have got the camera at 20K INR including a SanDisk Extreme 3 class 6 4 GB card, a camera case, and a Hoya UV filter.
No brother, I am yet to do a photo shoot of my ZMA. Her B'day is coming. So, may be I will do one in her B'day. ;)

;) I was very confused between D40 and FZ till the last moment. But then spoke with Nabendu da and he said it will be difficult to carry the dslr and it's lenses in backpack during long tours in bike. I also agreed to that. So, this FZ. :)

welcome to the pin JONAK.

Thanks dada.

Thanks bro. I remember saving some of your photographs involving a blue P220 from the other forum. ;)

Thanks Synn. I am a big fan of your photography.

Bridge camera. ALso known as superzoom. Not quite a DSLR, but far more advanced than P&S's. :)
