Hi guys,
Spent a lazy Sunday afternoon at home... so gave this another attempt..

Can you place a 'single' drop of water on another 'water surface' without breaking it?
Like this?:p;)

You have serious creativity and talent my friend!
PS: I see the 6.3 fps being put to good use :D

Your WB says manual. Did you use a greyscale card? Or did you play with the temperature settings? I think you did the latter.
Brilliant!
Could you throw some insight into the type of lighting used for the shoot please?

vicky for the GIF what time interval you kept??ie between the shots?
i really like the texture in the first one.
the second one is somewhat coarse to me.some glow effect will add some nice dimension to it.

Thanks Tao!
However, all the shots were taken in 'single shot mode' off different drops... at different stages on the splash and later combined in a fitting sequence for the GIF:p
Tried using the 6.3fps, but wasn't much help... single shot worked more predictably:)

Since the primary lighting was with the 430EX mounted on camera, I had manually set the WB to 5500k:)

vicky one suggestion.
if you have done it well and good.
if you have not,put the interval between shots to 0.1 sec.that will make a perfect timelapse.
if you already have done that then i will guess the images were less to make it smooth?
anyways you gave me some idea.:p
