Make sure you have completed Step 1 before thinking of posting your introduction to fellow photographers here. Step 1 constitutes you registering and creating a login name.
If you have not registered yet then please do so here (http://www.thephotographer.in/darkroom/register.php).
After registering you will get an email asking you to validate your identity and email. If you have not got that yet then try the following:
Look in your spam inbox, it may be there.
You might not have entered a correct email id while registering.
Contact us at http://www.thephotographer.in/email.gif (mailto:focus@thePhotographer.in) and we will try and get things sorted out.
One you are accepted in the community you will get a welcome email detailing the steps to be taken to completely become a part of us and get all the privileges. The most important step is to Post Your Introduction here (http://www.thephotographer.in/darkroom/forumdisplay.php?f=3) by starting a 'New Thread'. Once you have posted your introduction in the format posted below, you will have to wait for it to get approved by a moderator photographer and when that is done you are on your way!
So in short these are the steps to become a part of thePhotographer.in:
Register (http://www.thephotographer.in/darkroom/register.php) if you are not already
Look for the activation email in the inbox of the email address you specified while registering
Look for the welcome email in your inbox to know more details
Please restrict the maximum image size posted on the forums to 1024 pixels in width.
Post your introduction in the format below here (http://www.thephotographer.in/darkroom/forumdisplay.php?f=3).
Wait for your introduction to get approved by a moderator, you will recieve an email once that is done.

Guidelines:
Provide as much details as possible to create a good connect with other Photographers
Write crisply and in clear English, do not use SMS/Slang Language otherwise it will be straight away rejected.
Tell us about your passion for photography.
Tell us about any projects that you may done in the past with Photography as the main component.
Gather three of your best photos and attach it along with the Introduction. Without this we will not approve your intro.
Details about your camera , lenses that you use etc.
Favourite Subjects (of Photography)
Favourite Photographers
Anything else that you may want to share!
Remember the introduction is you starting point to network here. Even if you are a pro photographer do not let that prevent you from posting your details, the whole photography community will only benefit and thank you for it!
