i am getting an offer for a High Definition Close Up Lens Set with Macro Lens (FoxFoto - made in poland ) from a UAE auction site. the filter thread is 58mm. the seller dont have a universal thread for it and its has Close-Up lenses +1d, +2d, +4d + Macro lens +10d.
I would like to know that this set of lens can be used with my 58mm thread 70-300mm nikor lens for macro photography. will work same as raynox 250 ?
The asking price is 300 dhms (around 90 dollars).
macro experts please help me :)

As for Raynox, Anvancy is the man! If you plan to get a macro lens like the Canon 100mm f2.8 USM Macro, then let me know, and I'll be MORE than happy to provide you with an hands-on review of the same, although you CAN find a review in a thread which I started sometime back. :)
I have personally used the Raynox kit, and found out that if used with something like a 100mm macro lens, the magnification is HUGE. I also tend to dislike THAT much magnification. Also, it makes working without a tripod IMPOSSIBLE. However, if and when used with other lenses, for example a 50mm lens, the photographs provide good details. :)

When I talked to Anvancy, he remarked that most stores do NOT keep raynox equipment since it is not a fast moving object. Most people prefer to buy online AFA Raynox is concerned.

ya he told me that too, but searched deeply before ordering online. online its cost 50 $ only but courier charges 60-80 $

i am hearing foxfoto for the first time frankly.
if the seller is saying that it doesnt have an adapter,my guess is that its a screw on..like those other filters like uv etc.do they look like them?
as per my knowledge,1d and 2d will be of no use.the raynox 150 is a 4 diopter.250 is 8 diopter.but combined it gives a whopping 12diopter.and if u plan to buy two 250s then its 16diopter.
u also get raynox cm3500 "micro" kit.so u can imagine the mag in that.
having clicked many with the raynox,i still have to come across with the sharpness clarity and bokeh and structure like the raynox.
my obvious suggestion is to go for the raynox kit.
regarding foxfoto, give those a try with ur cam.take a matchbox as a subject, and see the different mags.
