I got my D60 yesterday and of course started shooting directly. Here are some of my best shot's. I'm open for critics and hope you can give me some usefull tips. They are shoot in auto or macro mode, without any manual settings.

Firstly congrats on your new buy of the D60. Which lens were you using in these shots. The first Rabbit shot has a very strong flash casting strong shadows. Some of the flower shots have a nice bokeh. That is about all for now. Further critique will follow.

Finally, Dominick's pics are up!

Congrats for the camera, Dom. Like I said before, I liked the Yellow flower pic very much. You can slowly venture into the world of Aperture/ shutter priority shooting (And later, manual) and gain a bit more control over how you want your pics to turn out.

Like Ken said, the rabbit shots are a bit strobed out. There's no harm in using a higher ISO for indoor shots, as the built in flash usually has disastrous fill effects.

There must be a way of controlling the intensity of the flash. Normal P&S cameras have; hence I assume that these in-built flashes will also have a +- Flash EV options. With some practice, you will get to see how and where the flash focuses and exposes. Accordingly, you can change the EV of the flash.

Yes, of course you can. But the problem that I find is that you can't really bounce the built in flash off anything as it always points to the subject . With a speedlight, this isn't a problem at all!

Thanx! I'll try to do some better shots these days, still learning :)
