Here is another shot, that while learning HDR came out.

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3606/3384423458_cbd6358382.jpg

Here is how i did it ( total time = 25 mins):

* 3 shots with +2 exposure compensation taken hand held
* HDR'd using Photomatix 3 ( borrowed laptop, anybody know of free alternatives ? )
* Kept the intensity light and image soft in photomatix tone mapping.
* Imported in photoshop at 8bit tiff, applied levels and bumped the contrast
* Improved curves for greens in shadows and color balance to get the highlights and mid tones correct.
* Framed using canvas size adjustment.

Note: the shadow in right and left bottom is intentional, since i felt it leads the viewer into the image

Apologies for not having EXIF data at present i can provide that after i reach home from work.

Please provide suggestions to improve or any mistakes i might have made in the process so that i can improve, there is some very visible noise, if you look in larger size here (http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3606/3384423458_cbd6358382_b.jpg)

If there is no way to remove this noise, then i think it can be compensated for on a canvas print. I really wish to gift this to someone dear.

Thanks
Suhail

Photo Critique Approved

Looks like a realistic HDR to me. I will let the others do the talking.

noise can come of some things.

either ur shot composed of longer duration.
u shot with a P&S.generally P&S have bad noise system.
HDRs do create noise.u can apply some noise removal plugin like noise ninja.

my personal like would be that the sky to be a notch darker and more saturated.
