Lets share duotone(BW,Sepia, seletive coloring etc.) images here.
@Ken- Please merge this thread if its already there.
To start with-
This image was shot in KRS Mysore during dusk hours. I shot this in a hurry as I was running towards the embankment to shoot the sunset. I missed it ultimately but later realised that something came out to be good.

Sp, I like the photo and the processing too, but, the boarder is just tooo loud! It's so 'in-your-face' and totally against the peaceful and subdued mood of the shot:(

Your reply makes me laugh, RIP; not really. But yes, it has been a while.
And btw, yet again, the second photograph gives me a déjà vu.

Krishnendu sir, better late than never, these will get you started.
Man vs Wild (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Man_vs._Wild)
Bear Grylls (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bear_Grylls)
To the uninitiated, this guy appears simply insane! But his survival lessons in worst-case scenarios could save your life.
The show has featured stunts including Grylls climbing cliffs, parachuting from helicopters, balloons, and planes, paragliding, ice climbing, running through a forest fire, wading rapids, eating snakes, wrapping his urine-soaked t-shirt around his head to help stave off the desert heat, drinking urine saved in a rattlesnake skin, drinking fecal liquid from elephant dung, eating deer droppings, wrestling alligators, field dressing a camel carcass and drinking water from it, eating various "creepy crawlies" (insects), utilizing the corpse of a sheep as a sleeping bag and flotation device, free climbing waterfalls and using a bird guano/water enema for hydration.
!!!!
He's the guy in AMVJ's avatar on the forum. And his signature says "Jeremy Clarkson (I'm assuming you know who he is, at least! :) ) and Bear Grylls fan"
His show is aired late evenings on the Discovery Channel, I'm not sure of the timings though.

Ah... so it is television! I do not watch television. Other than Federer (I am assuming you know who that is!). :)
But yes, I do know Jeremy Clarkson. Not on TV though.

Touché Sir!!!
Actually I almost thought that we were discussing photography! :)
Never saw these above posts before and some of them are about my signature :)
To me, Bear Grylls is a real hero. Most of them he performs are not graphics or a hollywood gimmick. They might appear barbaric but are real life saving when we caught alone, say in a forest or something. Yes, Bear Grylls mud faced photo is my avatar.
I consider Jeremy Clarkson as the world's greatest automobile reviewer of all time. Watch some episodes of Topgear and watch our Overdrive's reviews in NDTV (I think !) immediately you will laugh at Overdrive's review. See some youtube topgear videos for what I meant.
Mostly I watch Discovery / Animal planet or NG. Man Vs wild is my favourite.

Think that all persons interested in photography have somewhat common interests, ie, love for nature, wild-life and traveling (on bikes!).

My mistake here. I understood the meaning of Duotone after looking at this link (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Duotone)
This is more suited to the Potpourri thread or the Lines thread.
