I borrowed my friends Ultra Zoom Nikon P-80 for a recent trip to Goa. Most of the pics are clicked in Manual mode where I had good opportunity to learn about shutter and aperture priority settings.

I'll be putting in a few photos at a time so I can get complete reviews about each pic! :)

Here we go! :)

'the morning breakfast' one is good praful...
for night captures i'll suggest you to play with shutter speed and apparature value.... with lesser apparature value you can get some good effects

I personally think that for the night shots in artificial light, you should get your White Balance right.

F2.8 was the lowest I could set on the cam! Is there any other way around this?

WhiteBalance?? Is that available only in PhotoShop?
Or can I adjust this in other tools too?

Sorry I am also a noob at post-processing!!:o

Thanks, there was no PP involved with the first 2 shots, the camera just automatically highlights the reds more.AFAIK, that would be because of the smaller sensor size, Right?

I liked this shot, clicking horizontally instead of vertically would've provided it more visual acuity. :)

Nice set of pictures though.

White Balance is available on your camera. Read the manual on White Balance section. And you will know what I am talking about.
