This is dedicated to Aryan who tried pretty successfully at manipulating a photo to look like a macro shot of miniatures.

Tilt-shift miniature style photos are pictures of real-life scenes that are manipulated to look like model photographs.

Now you can easily transform your existing digital camera photos into tilt-shift style miniatures using tiltshiftmaker.com. Our online photo editing tool is fun and completely free!

Check out this online tool : http://www.tiltshiftmaker.com/

This is really interesting stuff. The first time I got to learn about this tilt-shift technique, it was utterly fun.. :D

I have tried my hands on this technique, and had posted it on xBhp as well. :) Will surely try to post a few more shots, here, in this thread.

P.S: Thank you Sunny for "dedicating" this to me!

Okay, here is the image that I was talking about. :D

Looks GOOOD
but IMO, the tilt shift works even better on stadii and the like because the vast expanse does not give away the large scale.

there was an awesome tilt-shift video of a monster truck event on the net. here it is

the comparatively enclosed space of the stadium makes it even more believable.

here's my first attempt...
I feel only if u look at it that way, or people who know how close-ups are clicked (and bokeh created) will appreciate it better (not mine, all posted here I mean).

Really interesting manipulation website. Is it that distant shots will end up looking more like miniatures?

A first-try for me...

Somehow not my cuppa! I mean, why would I want to make something real look like artificial?
