Hello guys,
After a lot of work with the camera and post production done by my friend madhu.... I present to you the two pics which i feel would be a good page opener or a table top product catalog for Honda Stunner. Open to your comments after this.

Critique Approved
Great work wonderboy. If only you could give us a hint on the kind of PP gone into this work.

Since this is a PhotoCritique thread I think I can give my suggestions :)
For me the second photo is much better since it has filled the frame with the subject . The second photo could have panned better but nevertheless its still good . Since you have a PP friend - just try to remove the unwanted glare / overexposure at places and straighten the horizon .

Arun, nice work man! I am trying to learn panning shots myself.
In the first one, I think the effect is less because the subject is cornering away from you. Another angle would have made a lot of difference I guess.
SEcond pic at full crouch looks awesome. CAn you please tell us the post processing tech used here? It would be very helpful.

Both are nice shots.
I like #1 better as its more natural although a little underexposed.
For #2, I would have preferred a wider Fl shot and also its evident that the panning effect has been created in PP with the motion blur filter:p
Its don't believe its wrong to do touch ups or enhancements in PP, but when you do, make sure you do it such that nobody can make out;)

I think the pics might have looked better without that racing number plate on the bike.

@ vicky : The pp work was to add the stunner and the honda logo.... i will also attach the original picture with this reply...... And the Motion blur was completely intentional and achieved only with a camera...

I guess the red on the bike was made more red.... i dun see any other changes .........
open for your comments
@ken da : Thanks a lot....
@nelson : Sir will correct the image and repost in a few days time..... thank you for your comments..........
@ nav75 :It was an organised event from Honda.... so that explains the racing numbers on the bikes..... sorry bro, i could'nt agree more, the pics would have looked better without them.... i completely agree

I can see from the exif that you intentionally used the base ISO and a very small aperture to get a relatively slower shutter speed and then panned the camera with the bike. This is fine and was perfectly done as you can clearly see the panning effect where the moving bike is in sharp focus but the background is motion blurred.
But, then while post processing there was definitely some motion blur filter (or maybe some other blur effect) applied which has resulted in these very blurred edges (check red arrow in attached pic) on the bike which were otherwise very sharp in the original picture:)
See for yourself in these 150% comparison crops:)

I guess I know where was the problem. Its happens while making selection in quick edit mode using an airbrush. If the size and flow of airbrush is high then there is chance that a little part of edges will be selected (something similar to feather effect) ...
To avoid this try reducing the size of brush and keep a lesser flow.
best way is to use a magnetic lasso to make a rough selection and switch to quick edit mode for corrections. Also make the selection at highest possible/visible zoom range.
But I also dont think any motion blur in there. I guess he has gaussian blurred the whole duplicated layer and set a low transparency/fill (kinda dreamy effect for portraits).

I may be wrong, but if it were gaussian blur, then shouldn't the blur effect be there on all the edges, both vertical and horizontal:confused: But, here you can see the edges blurred only on the horizontal edges ( front & rear) of bike and not on the vertical edges, top and bottom of the bike:confused:

Good analysis Vicky, I think some function might involve motion blur as an intermediate step.

@Vicky : Well dude... technically nothing to was done to make the image more sharp... the previous pic the PP work was done on the roads....... alone.....
