My first attempt at portraits. I was really fortunate to have my little sister pose for me.
Details :
Concept : 70's Revived
Camera used : Sony - DSC - S700
ISO : 1000
Exposure : 1/165 sec & f/4.8

The grained texture is due to the high ISO settings and it was intended to be that way.

Wonderboy, difficult to say much with just one portrait. You have put in a theme called 70s revived which you are probably trying to achieve with the B/W textured presentation with props like the sunglasses. But on a specified theme there should be a few examples to talk about, some more photographs. The grain here is fine. Diagonal composition is also not bad. But I feel there is something missing... but it is definitely a decent effort.

@ken Thanks a lot for your comment bro... According to me, the missing ingriedient is DOF. The poor little camra could not do more. I do not have a lot of pics on the same theme though, will try shooting again. Just one more though.Have one more though, same angle. But the only difference is more zoom.

The first pic will look a lot better with a higher contrast.

@Powerslave: It is highly probable.

Secondly, I like the 2nd photograph much better than the first one. Which means that the Sony is not all that bad.
