Thanks. I am glad you liked it. I realise this is what you get when you have a 8-blade aperture!

Oh okay!

Even the 100mm f2.8 macro lens has an 8 blade aperture, but I have seldom opened it as wide as f2.8. I almost always end up using it between f16-f22..

Yes. I know your "field" of work with the camera and this particular lens!

OT: So when are you beginning a thread showcasing a series of your work?

OT: I would love to share some of my macro work, but haven't really got anything substantial to share, unfortunately.

@Kenda Glad you liked it ...

Its just like a glass cube which has the dolphins and fishes engraved with laser rays - Dont ask me how ,this is what the shopkeeper told me :)

EXIF of the previous photo is
Camera: Canon EOS Digital Rebel XSi
Exposure: 0.3 sec (3/10)
Aperture: f/2.8
Focal Length: 100 mm
ISO Speed: 800
Flash: Flash did not fire

I was basically trying to experiment a 1:1 macro @f/2.8 since I was shooting at night with very less available light .

To see what it is actually is here

Exposure: 0.6 sec (3/5)
Aperture: f/2.8
Focal Length: 100 mm
ISO Speed: 200
Flash: Flash did not fire

Thanks Nelson for the details.

One from my side, I do not know if it qualifies since it is neither glass nor crystal but a little of both...
