Hi all
I am Pradeep , basically a mechanical engineer and working as a Business developer . My passion for photography started when my sister got me an Olympus film camera for 1800 Rs when i was in engineering. Since them have been craving for a big piece. Quite unfortunate that i never saved enough to buy one. Recently again with my sisters help i managed to buy a Point & Shot camera [ Panasonic Lumix DMC FZ 28 ] . Chose this camera after reading lot of forums & reviews. Should say that i am satisfied for the moment. Since i am still learning please forgive my innocent pictures which I am posting here.
I don't have a choice as of what to click. I like anything and every thing that pleases my eyes. Hoping to learn a lot from all of you. :)

Welcome to thePhotographer!
Pradeep, the flower image was huge in size. The next time please resize your images below 1024 pixels in width like you have done for the children images.

Welcome to thePhotographer.
Honestly speaking, one cannot shoot anything and everything that pleases. One does make choices. Like you have done faces of children here. Maybe you cannot categorise them here right now. But that is one of the tenets on which we are building our movement ahead. To be "focussed" and move. To make choices. Else one remains directionless. Which is why we are also asking "goals" to be achieved. We are all here to learn. But there is more beyond learning. I hope I am making myself understood. :)

Thank you . Point noted & appreciated . Well will certainly select a subject from all those i like and work on the same . As you said focus is the key word . I usually don't get much time . So all that i click are just things that see around me with the camera in hand which is a rare scenario . Would surly take some time to learn and chose . looking forward to be with you all and learn a lot .

Welcome to The Photographer, Pradeep :)
The FZ28 is a very good camera, if I ever buy a super zoom P&S, it will be a Panny ;)
Nice pics there, the second one could have been a more contrasty and would have worked wonders if the rule of thirds were applied here.

Yes i usually use the grid lines .This time i used the plain screen instead and tried . You are right i should have used the grids for better pic .I will have to wait till next time when the rose blossoms in my home made garden .Will try that for sure .Thank you for the tip :D
as you said FZ 28 is a good P & S Cam . It dose do wonders if it falls in hand of a professional .

You're welcome :) My only advice would be to refrain from using the gridlines. I know that they can be very helpful, but if you ever upgrade to a DSLR, you will almost definitely compose through the optical viewfinder which has no 'grids'. I generally make mental calculations while composing pics.

I don't quite agree with that. Anyone with a good eye for a picture can do wonders with that camera. :)
